Hello, I am the developer of iShowPro. What you've done looks great. I'm releasing a fix for the latest Director, today. We're also working on a totally new version that will work with iPad too. Thanks for your support!

Thanks for the comment. To be clear I'm not opposed to brands involvement in social, rather the idea that one can carry on a one-sided conversation. I think brands and corporations can benefit from social interaction with consumers and even become better due to that relationship.

Very interesting perspective, though I have to say that Twitter has brought me closer with my community. I have so many friends whom I may never have met if we hadn't been "twitter buddies". I think the key is what I call Netiquette, or following up with people you meet in the digital world. That way you are really connecting with people, and not just "socially networking".
Love the blog design, by the way!

Thanks again for the info.
I'm thinking it has nothing to do with the rewrite or .htaccess
If I use the private IP address vs the domain name for the path to the Director directory it works.

Could be an htaccess issue, try this, rename the .htaccess file and access the directory with the domain name, If that works then set the file back to .htaccess and exclude the iphone directory from the modifications. That may solve the issue, If you are unable to do that then add a .htaccess file to the iphone directory and turn mod_rewrite off in that file.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I'm sure this will help out some people.
